Chris Stevens is a registered psychologist and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. He is a member of the Humanist Counsellors Network, of the Australasian Personal Construct Psychology group and a member of the North American Personal Construct Network. An experienced therapist, he runs his own Practice at Coogee.

Personal Constructive Therapy combines traditional counselling approaches with contemporary constructivist advances in psychotherapy and hypnotherapy.

Chris also has over ten years experience in adult education having taught Communications at TAFE and English for the Adult Migrant English Service (AMES). He is also trained and experienced in trauma and critical incident counselling.
Chris has a broad understanding of the difficulties people face in the workplace, particularly people of migrant background. He has
lectured in Learning Development, in Social Psychology and in Developmental Psychology at the University of Wollongong. His doctoral thesis explored the nature and experience of insight and creativity.
